Posts Tagged ‘FaceBook’

This seems like a very simple topic, but I have been surprised as I have been helping others with their Social Media how many don’t know they can do this or even why they should!

For example, maybe you want to update your status with something that you don’t want EVERYONE who is your friend on Facebook to read.

This might be when you want to just announce something to your clients or team about your product or business and don’t want to be constantly bombarding your friends and family with what you are doing.

For example, here’s some lists I have created:

  • Family
  • School Friends
  • Local Friends
  • Church Friends
  • Business Team
  • Networking Friends
  • Mentoring Friends (Friends who I learn lots from their post)

and many more!  You can create any kind of list.

Now, say I want to make a status update about a Team Dinner that we are having but I don’t necessarily want to have every friend on Facebook read it. Then I can create the status update and then exclude some of these lists.

Let me walk you though the process.

How to Create New List

  1. Click on “Account” in upper right hand side of your FB page.  Now select “Edit Friends” from the drop down menu.
  2. Now select “Create New List” at the top of the screen
  3. Enter a name for your list
  4. Select which FB friends you want in this list and click the blue “create list” button

Now if you have a ton of FB friends already, it might take you a while to sort through all of them, but do a little bit everyday and you will realize down the road, what a great tool this is.

How to Update Status and Exclude a List

  1. Type in a Status Update on your Profile Page
  2. Click on the little black “Lock” icon in the bottom right of your status bar.
  3. Select “Custom” from the drop down menu
  4. Now start typing the name of the list you want to exclude in the “Hide this from these people” box.

You can also do the opposite with a certain post and share the post with “Everyone” or “Friends of Friends” so more people could see a post!

This is a really handy tool if used with the right intentions and without wanting to bombard or spam others!

Here’s another great tip!  When you click on your “Home” page, now your lists are on the left hand side of your page and if you click on a List, you can just see that lists’ status updates! It sorts them for you.  So if I want to just see what’s going on with my family, now I can read all their status updates fast!

Try it out today and let me know how you like it and also what types of creative “lists” you have made.  Just drop me a note below!

Aweber is an Email and Marketing Program that helps you communicate with your business associates, clients and team members.

In the past, I have used Aweber because of its ability to set up A/R messages (auto responder messages).

For those of you new to email campaigns, an A/R message are automatic messages that are sent to a person who fills out a form on your website.

For example, I have a website about Nutritional Cleansing, www.HappyCleansing.com and when people visit that site, they could fill out a form if they want more information from me.

Now, I have it set up in Aweber to then automatically send them a series of email messages I loaded into Aweber about Nutritional Cleansing. I am communicating with them on a continuous basis with less time and more results.

Anyway….that was a great feature about Aweber that I loved.

There are several other Email Marketing Programs that can do the same, such as Icontact.

But now, Aweber has joined the world of Social Media Tool Marketing!

They have seen the value of making it even easier for those of us using social media sites to communicate even easier and more effective with our clients and business partners.

There is now an option that as you email a list of contacts, you can also automatically have that email “twittered” and even posted to your FaceBook page!

And another favorite feature that can save you a ton of time for those of you who have a WordPress or blogging site, you can now have your readers subscribe to your RSS feed through an Aweber form and every time you write a NEW post on your site/blog, it is sent to your list of contacts automatically!

Here’s more about that from Aweber:

The success of your blog depends on being able to drive people back to it to read your new posts, click on ads and purchase products.

Blog Broadcaster merges the best of email and RSS, helping you reach the largest possible audience.

  • Convert your blog’s RSS to email newsletters automatically.
  • Schedule blog newsletters weekly, daily or as you publish new posts.
  • Fully control your newsletter’s design and content.
  • Track website clicks using your own domain name, without ugly click tracking links.
  • See who clicks your links, who opens your messages, and more.
  • Segment subscribers based on who clicked (or didn’t click) and send follow up emails.

What’s all the hype about Skype? Hey…that rhymes!

Most people were introduced to Skype by watching an episode of Oprah and seeing people chime in by Skype Webcam from all over the country on her TV show.

So instantly, when others hear the word Skype now, they think they need to either use Skype with as a webcam or use it to make phone calls.

Although these are both great ways to use Skype…

another useful way to use Skype that is overlooked, is the ability to “instant chat” with others online.

Many are familiar with the concept of online chat because of FaceBook.

On Facebook, you can turn on your chat, in the bottom right hand side of your screen and you can chat in real time with one of your FaceBook Friends.

Skype can do that too but what’s so great about Skype taking it a step further is that you can create “group chats.”

So for example, if you are in business and you need to keep in connection with several team members or if you have a group of friends that are separated by long distance…you can set up a “group chat” and you can have a “party” online (or a online business chat for you professionals out there).

You don’t need a webcam…You are TYPING back and forth to each other.

This is a great way to keep in contact in real-time with people.

I was again reminded about the value of Skype this week as I am working closely with a group of 5 other business partners on a company incentive to win a VIP trip to New York.

All of us are in different locations/states and we were sending endless emails between each other (copying everyone into them) and I know all of our inbox’s were getting backed up.

Group Chat on Skype

So by creating a group chat on Skype for this team, in an instant, we had a real time group chat to quickly ask questions, share ideas, encourage each other, get some direction or advice, etc….

Many times, I don’t have time to pick up the phone and get into a lengthy discussion but if I can quickly “skype” someone from my desk (multitasking) this saves me a lot of time.

Now those other things that Skype can do, like webcam connecting, making phone calls are really quite cool and can connect people all over the world but don’t forget the basics of Skype as an “instant chat”  tool as well.

You can download Skype for FREE at www.Skype.com

Let me know if you do it and how you like it!

Check back here in a few days to find out how to find others on Skype, set your privacy so you don’t get a lot of “perverts” contacting you, etc…

For those of you who want to use Social Media but are overwhelmed by making a ton of posts, logging in, logging out….trying to remember usernames, multiple passwords on all the different social networking sites…you will LOVE this service!

Go to www.Ping.fm and register.  It’s free.

Now you can connect Ping.fm to more than a couple dozen social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter.

What does this mean to you?

You can make one post in Ping.fm and it will update any social sites you have connected it to all at once.

ONE STOP POSTING!

There are some limitations to it…there is a limit to how long your post can be and how much it will post on some sites.

And I personally don’t like to connect my FaceBook profile to it, since I like to personally be more interactive on my own on FaceBook.

But overall, I put my Twitter, Linkedin, Plaxo, etc… and post away!

Try it and let me know how you like it?

From the BLOG at www.kimberking.com

Here’s 3 simple steps!

For easiest illustration, I’m going to be using FaceBook as an example.

Step #1 Preparing the Field

In regards to Social Networking on Facebook, to prepare your field you want to ask yourself these questions like these:

  • Who is the audience I am trying to reach?
  • Who or what am I trying to attract?
  • What type of image am I trying to portray?

For example, something as simple as your profile picture can establish who others think you are the very time they see you. Remember, that first impressions are everything. So take a look at your profile pic. Is this profile pic reflecting what you want to others to see you as? Is it a professional pic? Is it very business like? Is it a fun, casual pic? Is it family oriented, etc. Make sure that your pic matches your intentions of why you are social networking. If you do not have a profile pic right now, I can tell you that this will directly effect you in your expanding your social networking. People are way more likely to connect with someone with a pic. It establishes trust and also that you are real. If you don’t like taking pictures or how you look, trust me ANY pic is better than that scary, shadow guy on faceBook. If you do not have a pic, this is your first assignment today! Some of the best inviting profiles I have seen on FB are those casual self photos that show fun and energy. I want to get to know this person!

Profile photos are very important if you are trying to market a product or company or idea. Your page should be more about who you are and what you do than what your product is! People on social networking sites are there to build relationships and most of the time they do not log into Facebook to find a certain product or company. FaceBook or Social Networking Sites are not the Yellow pages! This is not a place for you to sell or market directly what you sell or the company you are with to your connections. The power of social networking and earning an income is in building relationships with others. And to do that, you MUST establish trust with others. You must be real to them. You must be genuine. You cannot come off like a slimy sales person on these sites.

One of my coach’s (www.workzonenow.com) taught me a very important principle. “See what everyone else is doing and do the opposite. ” This is so important…so many people are simply “Spamming” on Facebook! YUCK!

I am amazed so many times as I visit others pages that they are all about a company or product and after leaving their pages I KNOW nothing about actually who they are, their desires, but they have about 10 – 15 links about what they selling. In social networking when others leave your page, you want them to know more about you and be left very curious about what company or product you are involved with. How many of you have visited someone’s FB page and in the first seconds you see what company or product they are with and you immediately leave because you already know or have preconceived ideas about what they do or sell.

The smartest marketers on FB are those that simply have a link to contact them or perhaps a link to a generic lead capture page or their twitter page. Basically, something that leads the connection away from their page with a great desire to find out more about what that person does. They leave their visitors with curiosity to find out more about their company or product!

Also, in regards to updating your status, “Facts tell but Stories Sell!” So many people on FB are just regurgitating benefits and features of what they are selling and give way too much information. Results and Stories are far more powerful to most people than facts and figures. Now don’t get me wrong there is a percentage of people who like facts and figures and its okay to occasionally post these types of things but overall you want to create a emotional desire for someone to want what you have.

Share stories and results (WITHOUT mentioning) your company and product and just watch how many people are sending a message to your inbox wanting to know exactly what company or product created the results. Less factual information is more in regards to your links and status updates. Remember everything you post in your status basically goes on all of your connections home page and so if all you are doing is constantly posting your product and company over and over you will quickly find that you have been blocked by friends and family, etc.

Did you know that we are bombarded daily with countless hours of ads through the internet and TV. People are so tired of being sold to! But what they do need is encouragement and positivity in their lives. Remember see what everyone else is doing and do the opposite.

Lastly some companies and websites have provided you the ability to link their updates through RSS feed (which basically means that whenever they make a update or post, it automatically appears on your page as an status update). While upon first look this seems cool and appealing and an easy way to make posts, the issue is that you don’t know what their update is going to say and maybe now you are sharing something that you didn’t want to or necessarily agree with. And worse, there are 100’s of you sharing the same thing now and so people outside of your company or who have not subscribed to this as well feel like they are being spammed with the same message by a ton of people!

So my recommendation would still be not to link directly to the RSS feeds but instead read their updates and then decide for yourself if you want to share it.

Step #2 – Planting, Fertilizing and Cultivating the Seeds

When a Farmer plants his seeds, he plants all over the area with great expectations that over time, those seeds will grow into a very healthy crop.

The most important thing to remember in Social Networking is that it takes time! Your income will not develop overnight just like the farmer’s crop will not grow overnight. You will see very small sprouts before you ever see the healthy crop and it could take months and months.

What are ways of planting seeds in social networking? Here are some of the easiest things you can start doing today that can help you build relationships because you will stand out because most people are NOT doing these simple things.

When you make a brand new connection with someone, the first thing to do is to visit their page and check out who they are. See what they are passionate about. Go through their photos, and then connect with them. Build a connection with them with what is important to them and NOT what is important to you (that is very important). When you are visiting a page, remember it’s about them and not you! Leave them a comment on their wall or in their inbox that edifies them, congratulates them, build them up in what’s important to them. Ask them a question about something that they specialize in. People love to help and this helps them feel important and also create a connection. But be genuine! It goes back to your intention always!

AGAIN, do not be a slimy sales person and post something like, hey its nice to meet you, click on this link and get 10% on my super doper galatical product! YUCK!!!

I personally will delete these types of posts on my page and the sad part is that had they connected with me first, I might have been way more open to what they sell or do.

Also, very important, when someone makes a status update NEVER go on a thread and spam with your product or company. So many people will jump on a status and look at it as an opportunity to “throwup” their product and company on someone else’s thread. I have watched for example, someone post about wanting to lose weight and all the sudden 10 different weight loss reps are posting their links and why theirs is the best yada, yada, etc… YUCK! That poor person. Remember this is about establishing trust and building the relationship so strong that a person is dying to connect with you and learn more about what you do!

Another skill that I learned and have used over the last few years is understanding the 4 main personality types and how to speak in the 4 different languages. When I visit someone’s profile page I can usually determine in a few seconds what primary personality type they are and I can then speak in the language of their personality. I have taken over 15 courses on learning to master and speak with the 4 different personalities. This skill and knowledge increases your capability to create a strong relationship with others by using language that they can relate to. This skill not only has helped propel my business but has also helped me so much in my communication in all my relationships and has dramatically affected how I communicate with my husband and kids. It’s so awesome!

(workzonenow.com) for more information on personalities

Another no-no in Social networking is that you don’t ever want to take this elitist approach on social networking sites that your product or company is the best and the only good one out there! There might be some truth to it but nothing turns me off faster than watching others slam other products or companies. The truth is, there are many great companies and products out there and there is room in this industry for all of them. I also learned this from my Coach. In the end, people are not loyal to products, they are loyal to people! If you treat your clients, social networking clients, associates with respect and encouragement, they will virtually follow you anywhere.

I have seen so many people on FB basically spamming everyone. There is nothing more annoying to me than someone who requests to be a friend with me and in the next minute I have a message from them in my inbox or worse posted right on my WALL that basically throws up all over me about their great company or product without even establishing a relationship with me at all. They never found out about me or what I do or my needs.

Here’s some other simple ways to plant seeds:

  • Wish them a Happy Birthday
  • If you see a discouraging status go post words of encouragement be a light to them
  • When someone posts photos, go comment on them. People are posting them to share with others and get reactions from others

Remember that these things seem very simple and some of you are right now discarding these simple things but if you do these over a long period of time with a sincere heart, you are building a long term relationship that could eventually turn into profits because of it. Remember there are sprouts long before the healthy crop. And these simple things can take less than 30 seconds to do.

Also there is one more technique that this alone earner me a multi 6 figure on the internet and my parents million dollars in person that we came by naturally and that is called FORM. For those of you aware of what FORM is, its basically finding out F – Family / from, O – Occupation, R – Recreation, M – delivering a message. Now with sites like FB, this is basically done for you when you visit someone’s page, you just need to go in and investigate their page and then build a relationship again around what’s important to them and not you. Also, its very important on social networking sites to leave out the M like we talked about before and instead have them begging you for the message!

Step #3 – Reap what You Sow

Many of you have heard this phrase that you reap what you sow! This saying is NOT on trial. It’s a law of success from one of the all time best success books ever written and it has been proven over and over, yet so many don’t use this success law.

Listen if you want to be heard and have others learn more about about you, what you do, give you referrals, you have got to do the same! So many people wish they had a whole bunch of people referring others to them yet I bet they have not referred someone to others for years! Look if you find someone who does a great job with what they do, give them referrals, use their products, become a customer…If you want more or something in your business to grow more, you must give more in that same direction.

I am blown away that others don’t give referrals for their friends and families that are in business. Why would you not help others prosper especially in this Economy. Look instead of thinking, who can I sell to today, think who can I help prosper today. See what happens! You know most people will want to give right back! This is the concept of a great organization I was part of a few years ago, called BNI. BNI’s main foundation was helping others in non related companies and industries grow each others businesses.

So if you want more customers in your business, help others get more customers. If you want more people encouraging you in your life or business, encourage others. If you want more referrals, give more referrals.

I do believe that giving referrals to each other could be the best stimulus package! We all need to serve each other during this time.

Make it a principal of yours to constantly give in what ever direction you want your life to go to and see what happens!

Check it out!  Here’s 3 things that I am going to set up this week for Summer Vacation and to help me maintain balance between work and family so that I can still produce results in my home business but also have a blast with my kids and hubby this summer!

Or maybe a better way of putting it is, “are you suffering from G.I.G. syndrome?”

That’s what myself and one of my business partners like to call the “Grass is Greener” syndrome.  There are so many in the home business industry that seem to suffer from this.  It’s just sad!

Let me just say this right up front that I am a firm believer in “prospering where you are planted” in this industry.

I do believe with a 100% certainty that a person in our industry can absolutely create success in their company right where they are now.

How can I feel so strongly about that…we’ll FACTS (Results) DON’T LIE!

And the truth is that if there is ONE other person in your company who has created the kind of success you are looking for such as a 6 or 7 figure income or whatever success looks like for you, then YOU can create that same success too!

However, with that being said there are some reasons when it becomes necessary to look for another “home” in our industry.  For example:

  • The company is shutting down
  • The company made a drastic change to their compensation plan that would make it hard for anyone to continue generating income
  • The company or leadership are acting unethically or illegally
  • The company’s values do NOT line up with your own or how you build your business

Now, you have to know that there is NOT one company that is perfect or free from occasional changes or “drama” episodes within the leadership. That’s just a fact of life in our industry because it’s an industry of “humans” and humans are NOT perfect!  And company’s and leaders sometimes make mistakes.  So when this happens, it’s important to look at how they make corrections and if they take responsibility for their actions.  If they do, then this is NOT a deal-breaker because WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES!

But most people leave one company to avoid “drama” or what they see as things they don’t feel right about, only to find out that its also in the next company they join.

Or worse, they leave to be “at the Top” of the newest company out there–only to maybe have some initial success but it is only temporary because their income and company was built on “rocky ground!

NOTE:  If anyone is trying to recruit you from another company and is claiming to be a big TEAM BUILDER–recognize right now the difference between a Team Builder and a Team MOVER!”

There are lots of people out there claiming to be leaders that just keep moving teams from company to company at their benefit and are NOT building teams but just moving and stealing from other companies and teams–this type of stuff is what gives our industry such a bad name.

If they are a successful leader then they can build again with a WHOLE NEW TEAM without “raiding” others teams and companies-–so watch out for these people and their claims.  They will get you in and then will be the first to take your team to their next company!

Anyway… a little off topic but I feel strongly about that one as you can tell!

So, you have to make absolutely sure that if you are leaving your company, there are some MAJOR and valid reasons to do so and really look at where your next HOME is going to be.

With the popularity of  social networking and so many people connected together in our industry, I think that the GIG syndrome has become worse.

I have seen first hand some teams and incomes destroyed because others thought the Grass is Greener only to be left disappointed and lives and dreams shattered.

The GIG syndrome is brought on by so much HYPE out there and others acting out of fear of loss instead of really doing what it takes to create success right where they are.

Someone sees a post about “ground level”, NEW Super Galatic company with a HOT new product,  yada, yada and everyone starts to jump into something they really have NOT done their due diligence but act out of sheer panic that they are going to miss out on the next BIG THING!

I would go out on a limb and say that more than 90% of the time, the next BIG THING will have their doors shut within the first couple of years.

Facts DON’T LIE and the truth is, very few companies make it their first year.

I learned something from my mentor a long time ago that seriously applies to just about everything in life and I would say that most successful people do this one thing, “Watch what everyone else is doing and do the opposite!” If you see a large group swarming to a new company, be leery.

Don’t be a follower out of fear or on some hype-y promises! If the opportunity is good, it will be there and you can create success in it, no matter when you decide to join!

Do your homework.

If you are one that is looking for a new “home,” here’s 5 things to look for in your next company:

  1. History of the Company and its Leadership – Google the company and its Corporate leadership.  Now, every company and person gets some occasional bad press out there but if you are seeing a pattern, that’s a clue to stay away.  Is the company debt free?  Have they been in business longer than 5 years?  (that’s a real bench mark that they will probably be around in the next 10+ years)  Check out their score at BBB (Better Business Bureau) and see how they deal with their clients and complaints.  Are they experienced in the market they are pitching?  Do they have experience with their products and manufacturing?
  2. Check out the Team and Leader you would be partnering with – What’s the “culture of the team?”  Do your values line up with theirs?  Do they have a system in place to help you create success simply and timely?  Do they have a proven track record and success stories?   Are they FIRM in their company?  How many companies have they been with and why?  What can they offer you?  (But remember, you have to bring what you can offer to the team to the table too.  Most successful leaders will only work with a select few because of time and because they want to work with those who are serious and hungry).
  3. Must have a product that is unique, emotional and proven results - Check for success stories not only of the team members but also of their clients.  If the compensation plan went away, would there still be a need for their product?  Does it cause others to share results?  Does it feel a need for most people?  Do you LOVE the products or what they might be capable of?
  4. Vision of the Company and Leadership – Interview them.  See where they see themselves in the future.  Do they have a clear vision that others will get behind?  Will this be something that you can see yourself doing in 5, 10, 20 years if the company is still around?
  5. A Solid and Unwavering Compensation Plan – Check out the results and stories of their leaders.  How many 6 & 7 figure income earners have they produced?  Many companies disclose this information along with what the average associate makes on their website (be leery of those that don’t!)  How long did it take to create the stories?  Check out the history of the compensation plan.  How many changes have they made to it.  If it’s been more than 1 in the last 5 – 10 years, I would stay far away.    Look for companies that if they do change something, they enhance their compensation plan or add additional bonuses–that’s a WINNER!

I hope that you aren’t in a position of looking for a new GIG! But if you are, I hope that you will take your time and do your homework and don’t act out of fear of people whispering rumors and hype in your ear.

There are lots of great companies out there that are STABLE and are “sleepers” and might not be the one with all the “bells and whistles” but they will still be there creating Success Stories long after the ones that get tossed around on FaceBook will!

From the Blog, www.kimberking.com

If you are currently looking for a NEW “home,” message me.  I’d love to have a discussion with you!

This Post was from Blog, The Real Wahms

www.TheRealWahms.com

“For nearly a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through nearly a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.”

Yesterday, Jodi and I had the honor of interviewing our Success Coach, Dani Johnson on TRW. Dani shared with our listeners how “people are NOT duplicat-able but SYSTEMS are.”

I learned this first hand early on in my home business. After some initial success, I turned to the internet and started “social networking” (before it was even called that).

I was able to expand my business and connections very naturally through mom boards and forums because I had developed a certain skill-set that just worked for me.

The problem was that NO one else on my team could duplicate me or what I was doing and I really didn’t have the skill-set yet to help them succeed in the way they needed to or was gifted.

It wasn’t until I let go of my ego and decided to get some help for my team and find a “system” that they could plug into that was simple and help me release some of the burden I was feeling as a leader for their success or failure, that I really broke through that next level in my income.

I finally realized that in this industry, everyone comes to their business with different levels of skill-set, gifts, personalities, etc. And many times, they also come with “baggage” or “excuses” (well-planned lies) that is holding them back. I had to recognize that I was not really equipped to help move them quickly through all this and many times, it really wasn’t my place to do that anyway.

That’s where finding a Coach came in for my team!

In just 8 weeks, after plugging 10 leaders into First Steps to Success System, my income went from mid-4 digit monthly checks to 5 digit monthly checks and 6 figures that same year.

In the same time, my schedule went down to 20 hours per week or less.

One of the key reasons for this is that I went back to do what I had done initially at the first of my business and started to help NEW Associates get started.

You see, I had stopped doing this and had started “managing” others and trying to get them through their “stuff” and “hovering” over them like a “Mother Hen” waiting for them to do something–anything. And many of them just didn’t want to and like I said, I was not really equipped to get them there anyway.

When we start someone new in our business, our ONLY job is to “DIRECT and ENCOURAGE” them…it is up to them to increase their skill set and also go through self-development that they need to create success.

So you DIRECT them to your SYSTEM and simply ENCOURAGE them through it.

It’s so important that if you are just getting started and your team or company already has a SYSTEM, then don’t be like me and try to “reinvent the wheel” or think you can do it better…just follow the SYSTEM and then DIRECT and ENCOURAGE others through the same process.

If you keep it this simple and keep doing this over and over, soon you will be generating an income that you won’t believe.

If your company or team doesn’t have a SYSTEM, I highly recommend you check out Dani’s. In fact, this link will give you 3 FREE Mp3s to check out her system at www.TheRealWahmsCoach.com

Now…you are saying, what does the Boys Scouts have to do with all this.

Well guess what? Every successful organization has a SYSTEM whether it be the NBA Draft to McDonald’s. They have simple processes they direct and encourage their employees or players through to help them succeed.

So after our TRW show yesterday, Jodi, her hubby and our friend Angela went out to celebrate a little Cinco De Mayo for lunch.

In the car ride over, Angela was talking about preparing for a “Circle of Light” recognition for one of her Boy Scouts as she is a Leader.

I shared with Angela that I have 3 sons and I really know the value of the Boy Scouts program and think its really good for them but so many times we are so busy with other sports or activities that I feel overwhelmed with the program and have felt like I’ve really dropped the ball with Boy Scouts.

Angela says, “Kimber, all you need to do is get them there and then their leaders will do the rest!”

Being the control-freak (Ruby–if you are familiar with Dani’s Personality Gems), I thought their success or failure in the Boys Scouts was all up to me! Again, I was trying to do it all instead of just putting them into the highly successful “System” of Boy Scouts and their awesome leaders!

I said, “you mean all I need to do is use their SYSTEM”… we all just laughed as we had just heard Dani say that LOUDLY and thought how funny that it even applied to Boy Scouts!

(Jodi was just laughing at me as usual as she enjoys watching “Rubies” struggle)

Well that was another lesson for me that there are systems out there in every part of our lives that are already working that can help all of us out in not only for our business but also to help our families create success and balance too!

USE THE SYSTEM!

If you missed TRW with Dani Johnson, you can listen to the rebroadcast in the upper right hand side of www.TheRealWahms.com in the Blog Talk Radio box. But grab a pen and paper before you listen as you will be taking massive notes!

P.S. Dani mentions some Success Tool packages only good for our TRW listeners for a very limited time, you can go to www.danijohnson.com/wahms to check them out!

Just wanted to share a couple shortcuts that I have found that help to get your message out a little easier while you are Tweeting and Facebooking (is that a word?)  LOL

If you have a Fan Page on Facebook, you can create your own URL.  Here’s what you do:

Why do this?

This is a easier way to share your Fan Page with others in your communication with them.

For example, my team’s Fan Page is http://www.facebook.com/yourdestinyteam

One note:  You must have at least 25 fans before you can create your URL.

Here’s another one.  To connect your Fan Page to your Twitter account:

  • Go to your Fan Page
  • In address bar type http://www.facebook.com/twitter
  • This links you to the page that you can connect your Fan Page and Twitter account

Now everytime you post on your Fan Page, it also sends out a Tweet!

Hope this helps some of you who are trying to save a little time while you are out social networking!
